Note:

  • You will be asked to pay an annual fee of $99 to Apple, Inc. directly.

  • Before starting your Apple Developer enrollment, please check whether your company already has a D-U-N-S number.

  • We recommend using a generic company email address and phone number during the registration process so that someone else can manage the account in your absence.

Step 1: Enroll in Apple Developer Program

  1. Select the ‘Start Your Enrollment’ button

  2. Sign in using an existing Apple ID or click Create Apple ID to create one.

  3. Agree to the Apple Developer Agreement by ticking the checkbox and clicking the ‘Submit’ button located at the bottom right.

  4. In the ‘Select Entity Type’ section, you must choose ‘Company/Organization’ from the dropdown menu.

    a) If your company has a D-U-N-S Number, click "continue."
    b) If not, click "Check now" as indicated below and follow the instructions in Step 2 to obtain your company's D-U-N-S Number.

Note: Please do not register as an ‘Individual/Sole Proprietor’. It is crucial to register as a ‘Company/Organization’ because we do not support Individual accounts.

  5. Next, fill in your organization's details under ‘Tell us about your organization’. Enter your Legal Entity Name and D-U-N-S number as provided in the D-U-N-S confirmation email

  6. Next, provide your personal contact information for your Apple Developer account.

  7. Tick the box indicating you’ve read and agree to the terms and conditions, then click ‘Continue’.

  8. Verify that all entered information is correct and click 'Submit'.

  9. Apple will contact you within 24-48 hours via phone or email to verify your enrollment.

  10. After verification, expect a follow-up email to pay the annual enrollment fee of $99.

  11. Return to your Apple Developer dashboard, complete your billing information, and click ‘Continue’ to finalize the payment and setup of your Apple Developer account.

Step 2: Acquire a D-U-N-S® Number for your Organization for Free

To enroll in the Apple Developer program, you must obtain a D-U-N-S number. If you have any questions during the process, please contact your Implementation Specialist or email us at hi@fuego.io. We’re here to assist you!

What is a D-U-N-S Number?

The D-U-N-S Number is a unique nine-digit identifier for business entities, specific to each location. Managed by Dun & Bradstreet (D&B), it is a widely recognized business identifier required for Apple Developer Enrollment. It verifies your organization's identity and legal status during the enrollment process.

How to Request a D-U-N-S Number?

If your company is officially recognized as a legal entity, Dun & Bradstreet (D&B) might have already provided your organization with a complimentary D-U-N-S Number.

👉 Before enrolling, use the D-U-N-S Number lookup tool to see if you have one!

  • If Yes, you can proceed to complete your enrollment in Apple Developer following the instructions in Step 1.

  • If No, your company is not listed, you will see an option to submit your information to D&B for a free D-U-N-S Number. By check-marking the box and selecting ‘Submit’, you will give Apple authorization to provide your business information to D&B.

Please note that when using the lookup tool to request a D-U-N-S Number, you will need to provide the following information:

  • Legal Entity Name

  • Headquarters Address

  • Mailing Address

  • Your Contact Information

As part of D&B’s verification process, a D&B representative may contact you directly for additional information (e.g., type of business, number of employees). Please have your business registration documents readily available.

👉 Once you have been given a D-U-N-S Number, please repeat Step 1 to register your account with the Apple Developer program.

Step 3: Invite Fuego to Your Apple Developer Account

👉 Once you invite Fuego to your Apple Developer Account, app publishing with testing will be done automatically.

  1. Navigate to your App Store Connect account, https://appstoreconnect.apple.com/login

  2. Select ‘Users and Access’ from the top menu bar

  3. Tap on the ‘+’ button, then complete the following fields as listed below:

    • First Name: Team

    • Last Name: Fuego

    • Role: ‘Admin’ with access to all ‘Additional Resources'

Click ‘Invite’ to complete the invitation process.
